The Gridiron Gang recently discovered that we love asparagus. We had some delicious grilled spears at a family cookout last month and have been eating tons of it ever since. I've been roasting some in the oven with a little olive oil and Tony's, and it is SO GOOD! Now that we know we love it, we're ready to branch out and try some new recipes. So, if any of you loyal readers or occassional lurkers have some great asparagus recipes to share, we'd love to give them a try!

We prolly have asparagas 4 times a week........will send recipes soon.
I love to cook some fresh pasta - linguine or tagliatelle - steam some asparagus, tear up some proscuitto ham then toss the hot pasta, steamed asparagus and ham with creme fraiche and some fresh chopped parsley, salt and lots of black pepper......
I didn't like asparagus until Bruce cooked it for me. Just some sea salt and olive oil, and roasted for a wee bit.
My mother MURDERS asparagus. I SHUDDER to think about what she does to that poor poor veggie.
Cut some into 3rds, blanche for about 1.5 minutes in boiling water, and then take them out and put them immediately on ice. When they are good and chilled, toss with tomato cut into wedges, a little Italian salad dressing and some shaved parmesean. :)
I also make a "lasagna" with asparagus and ham. Just like regular lasagna, but use a vodka sauce, and your filler is asparagus, chopped deli ham (thin sliced), thinly sliced onion, and a little ricotta cheese.
Yummy!
