Rain, Rain, Go Away!

If it doesn't stop raining soon, I'm going to have to Google a tutorial on How to Build an Ark. Surely there's a YouTube video for these situations.

I love rainy days, always have, but we've had more than our fair share lately. And it's football season for cryin' outloud! I don't like to get wet when I'm watching football. I know I'm spoiled, the New Orleans Superdome was our football home for seven years. It never rains in the Superdome...oh wait, there was this one hurricane...nevermind. Anyway, our little stadium in East Texas is a far cry from my luxury box in the Big Easy. I try not to complain, we really are in a great place, with an outstanding football team and a pretty cushy life, but after spending 4 hours standing in a cold downpour last weekend, I can't help but whine.

By the looks of things, I better go pack my rainboots and throw the other waterproof gear in the mom~mobile, looks like we're in for another rainy game tomorrow. If by some chance it does stop raining, it's supposed to turn really cold...cold for us wimpy Southerners anyway. Did I mention I don't like to be cold?

I sure hope this weekend's game is a lot drier than last weekend's game, we've been having more than our share too GG! I hope you stay warm and cozy this weekend at the game and that if its gotta rain that its before or after the game!! xoxo
PS. My word verification was "hotird" and i gotta say thats appropriate after all the walking I did today at the Washington Antique Fair at the Old Schoolhouse Mall. This ho is tired!

Hi GG!
Here's hoping that today has surprised you and is dry...at least after the game. I'm with you...as much as I love football, watching it in the rain is the pits...especially when it's cool.

Thanks for the info re: the pelicans. I would truly appreciate the vendor's info if you are able to get it.

Good Luck on the game today....we love our coach, oh yes we do!!

And love your water droplet shots!!
Fun thing to do? Get the angle of the shot to where your reflection with the camera is in the droplet...makes a cool image!!
